Meadows is acclaimed architect John Fought's latest creation. The course features tremendous variety within its 18 holes, seven of which border the meandering Sun River. Fought's design pays tribute to the great American golf courses from the 1920s and 30s with its aesthetic grace, while its dramatic use of directional and fore-bunkers serve up ample challenges for golfers of all skill levels.
The Meadows Golf Course near Bend, Oregon has played host to numerous USGA and NCAA golf championships, including the NCAA Men's Division I championship tournament. Named one of the Top 10 Destinations for Family Golf by Golf Digest, January 2016. Ranked #15 in Golf Advisor's Golfers' Choice Award: Best of Oregon Golf Courses 2019.
Effective for the 2024 golf season, Meadows and Woodlands Golf Courses will unite under the new Sunriver Golf Club. This unified entity will transition to private status, reserved for club members and resort guests only. This change aligns with our commitment to providing exceptional golf experiences, ensuring the continued high-quality maintenance of both courses. It also enhances the benefits of being a Sunriver Resort guest by providing better tee times and exclusive play on our golf courses.
The opening hole at Meadows is a good test to start with. Bunkers line the right side of the fairway leaving a difficult drive. However, if well executed, it will leave a short iron in to a generous two-tiered green.

Hole #15 at Meadows is pretty straight forward. Bunkers left and right in the landing zone demand an accurate tee shot. Probably the most difficult approach shot on the Meadows can be found into the 15 green, as it is a very shallow green making distance control vital.

PROPER ATTIRE
Acceptable attire for men includes, slacks, appropriate length golf shorts, and shirts with collars at least 1” in width. Unacceptable attire includes denim, tank tops, cut-offs, sweat pants, bathing suits, tennis shorts, or other athletic shorts.

ALCOHOL
All alcoholic beverages consumed or otherwise possessed on the premises of Sunriver Resort must be sold and purchased at the Resort. All outside alcohol is prohibited.
MUSIC
Listening to music or a broadcast is not allowed at the practice facility. Listening to music or a broadcast while on the golf course is allowed. Speaker volume must remain on a low setting as to not be heard more than 15 feet from the cart or player’s bag.
PACE OF PLAY
All players shall maintain a reasonable rate of play. Under normal circumstances, a round of golf shall be completed within 4 hours and 15 minutes, including any time stopping between nines.
